So I went to Rossyln Chapel. This is one of the oldest Chapels that is still standing around Edinburgh apparently. It is also the end scene in the Da Vinci Code!! It was so pretty.
That is a picture of some of the scaffolding around it. This has been here since 1995 because the roof almost collapsed because of lack of care and they are trying to dry out the mold and what not. The inside is beautiful, with very intricate carvings everywhere.
We then went to the "Rossyln Castle". Essentially a bunch of ruins on an icy cliff... fun to do with my new friends though. There was definitely a rendition of disney songs sung on the way back for some odd reason... not sure yet. hahaha
Well. Today i'm going to Edinburgh Castle with my flatmate, Cara. We're just being tourists for the weekend.
You don't know why we sang it?! Of course it was because Jessie, Kat, and Chris were feeling particularly strong after conquering the stairs... and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to sing along. :-)
